Shipment, Payment and Refund Policy

This Shipment, Payment & Refund Policy explains how you pay for hardware crypto wallet products (“Products”), Products are shipped to you, and refunds are issued by Hito, Inc. (“Hito,” “we” or “us”) when you purchase Products from the website https://www.hito.xyz (“Website”), or when you otherwise interact with us.

By accessing and using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the content of this Shipment, Payment & Refund Policy. We reserve the right to update this Shipment, Payment & Refund Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the Shipment, Payment & Refund Policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review the Shipment, Payment & Refund Policy whenever you access the Website or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

1. General

Products are subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our Website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your Product purchases at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered Product or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the Products in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for the shipping costs to the customer.

3. Returns

3.1 Return Due to Change Of Mind

Hito will happily accept returns due to a customer’s change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within 7 days of receipt of the Product, and the Product is returned to us in original packaging, unused and in a resellable condition.

Return shipping costs will be paid by the customer, and will be required to be arranged by the customer themselves.

Once returned Product is received and accepted, we will process a refund for store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email.

Hito will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.

3.2 Warranty Returns

Hito will happily accept returns due to a customer’s change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within 7 days of receipt of the Product, and the Product is returned to us in original packaging, unused and in a resellable condition.

Customer will be required to pre-pay the return shipping costs, provided however that Hito will reimburse you for such costs if your warranty claim is valid.

Upon return receipt of the Product subject to a for warranty claim, Hito shall be able to process your warranty claim within 7 days of receipt of the Product.

Once warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:

(a) a refund to your payment method
(b) a refund in store credit
(c) a replacement Product sent to you (if in stock)

4. Delivery Terms

4.1 Transit Time Domestically

In general, domestic shipments within the United State of America shall be delivered to the customer anywhere from for 2 to 7 calendar days

4.2 Transit time Internationally

Generally, orders shipped internationally outside of the United State of America shall be delivered to the customer anywhere from 4 to 22 calendar days. This varies greatly depending on the courier you have selected. We shall be able to offer a more specific estimate when you are choosing your courier at checkout.

4.3 Dispatch Time

Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days of receipt of payment for order.

Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In such instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

4.4 Change of Delivery Address

For a change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the delivery address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

Hito will ship to P.O. box addresses using United States Postal Service (“USPS”) only. We are unable to offer shipment by courier services to such locations.

4.6 Military Address Shipping

We are able to ship to a military address using USPS. We are unable to offer shipment by courier services to such locations.

4.7 Items Out of Stock

If a Product is out of stock, we will wait for the item to become available before dispatching your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved while we await this item.

4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded

If actual delivery time has exceeded the forecasted delivery time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation into the reasons for the delay.

5. Tracking Notifications

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

6. Parcels Damaged in Transit

If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with next steps.

7. Duties & Taxes

7.1 Sales Tax

Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the Products as displayed on the website

7.2 Import Duties & Taxes

You may be liable for import duties and taxes for international shipments upon arrival of the Product to the destination country. This varies by country, and Hito encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival of the Product at your destination country, the Product will be returned to Hito at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.

8. Cancellations

If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to the refund section, set forth below.

9. Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

9.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

9.2 Process for parcel lost in-transit

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.

10. Refunds

In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the Product within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way. After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it and process your refund.

The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.

If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 30 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
